The company Metalska industrija Varaždin d.d. (MIV) is a global manufacturer of valves and fittings installed in water, sewage, and desalination systems, pumping stations, power systems, and process industries worldwide. MIV sells products to more than 40 countries, with exports accounting for 60% of its total production. Operating since 1939, MIV is today a joint-stock company employing around 400 people.
